The Rising Stars are home for the holidays!

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL®) is pleased to present Home for the Holidays on December 29, 2019 at 3:30 pm at the Unitarian Church, 8 Archdale Street, Charleston, SC.

Please join us as we welcome former CSOL scholarship recipients for an enchanting afternoon of chamber music in a very special setting to benefit the David and Karen Stahl Memorial Scholarship Fund of the CSOL, given annually to the top-ranked graduating high school senior who plans to major in music in college.

Performers include Emma Joyce and Benjamin Kremer, violin; Marshall McArthur, viola; Erica Kremer, cello; Caleb Borek and Reed Kurtz, Piano; and Eliza Turner, voice. The program will feature both solos and ensembles including selections from the Brahms String Quartet No. 1 in C minor, the Dvořák Piano Quintet No. 2 in A Major and the Vivaldi Concerto for 3 Violins in F Major.

After the recital, a reception will follow in Gage Hall where you will have an opportunity to meet these wonderful musicians before they begin their careers.

Tickets are $35 per person for adults. Students are admitted free of charge. Help us support the event by becoming a sponsor at $100. Each sponsorship is $100 and includes 2 tickets to the event.
